Founder's Story

 

Hello! I’m Rose, the founder and designer behind Rosa Supra. I’m someone who’s always been drawn to art, fashion, and nature—and a big part of who I am comes from growing up surrounded by different cultures. I was born and raised in Bangkok, but I started travelling internationally with my family from a young age. Whether I was wandering through ancient ruins or castles in Europe or exploring jungles and deserts in Australia, those experiences shaped how I see the world and continue to inspire my designs today.

 

I started out in law and worked as a lawyer for a few years in Boston and Bangkok, but deep down, I always knew I wanted to do something more creative. I’ve always dreamed of building something meaningful and bringing joy to others. When the pandemic hit and the world seemed uncertain, I decided it was time to follow my dream. That’s when I launched my first collection, Rosa Supra, in 2020, while still working as a legal consultant.

 

It all began with a blog where I wrote about the things I love—travel, art, and creativity and started exploring Thai craftsmanship. While impressed by the beauty, quality and uniqueness of Thai arts and crafts especially fabrics, I realised that many traditional fabrics were being used in ways that didn’t suit contemporary lifestyle. It was difficult to find the right piece that I would see myself and my friends wearing out and about. That’s when the idea for Rosa Supra came to life: a brand that brings Thai heritage into the modern world through stylish, bold yet wearable pieces that can be mixed and matched with casual trousers and jackets.

 

Having completely fallen in love with art and fashion, I moved to London in 2022 to pursue my second master’s Degree in Fashion Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the London College of Fashion and decided to stay here longer to be in this vibrant and arty community in London. Rosa Supra is my passion project turned purpose—combining my cultural heritage with contemporary design. I design every piece for women to feel special, confident, and a little rebellious, for women who love to stand out in their own way.
